Although, the study showed that the citizens of the UK still voted for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to occupy the top position nationally, narrowly pushing Judi Dench into second place.

The top ten most admired women also included Michelle Obama, Celine Dion, Oprah Winfrey, and Julia Roberts. The Queen was among the widely admired women across the world.
Despite being ranked fourth globally, The Queen was voted as the most admired among British voters. The list highlights the fact that celebrities are often held in higher esteem than politicians. German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Burmese leader Aung San Suu Kyi are placed at ninth and tenth positions respectively. Taylor Swift and Beyonce Knowles closely follow Merkel at the 11th and 12th spot. Sonia Gandhi from India is ranked 13th, while Jennifer Lawrence is one spot behind her. Kate Middleton secures the 15th position globally, but in the UK, she is voted sixth, ahead of Aung San Suu Kyi and after Helen Mirren, who is ranked fourth.
